Trekking around Altar Volcano - 3 days/ 2 nights

   


You will discover this marvelous National Park surrounded by the beautiful Altar.

Day 1     Riobamba - Inguisay - Walk
Departure from Riobamba at 8 am towards Inguisay. Box lunch at noon. Get the horses ready, we begin the trekking going to the base camp: Machay de Mandur ( 3 hours walk). Camp installation. Dinner and night under tents. 
       
Day 2     6 hours walk towards Altar lakes
 Breakfast. Walk towards Altar lakes: la laguna Estrellada, Verde Cocha, and Negra Pacha. About 6 hours walk. 
Depending on the physical condition of the participants, we can go to see Mandur lake. In the afternoon, return to the camp. Dinner and night under tents.
       
 Day 3 Come back to Inguisay - Riobamba 
 Breakfast. After get off the camp, about 10 :00 am, walk to Inguisay. Return to Riobamba.
